I’d like to thank my employer for leading me to believe I was going to get a profit sharing cheque. I was starting to forget what disappointment felt like, and for a few minutes I actually thought I could do something crazy like get a cool smartphone like the rest of you jerks, or maybe get some furniture, or a fucking air conditioner for the upcoming summer. I keep forgetting to lower my expectations.
